I do not have a partner yet, so if you are interested in working with me, please email me (sgov at cc).
I'm Dannon Baker, MSCS student. I'm interested in just about everything, but for this class I hope to focus on IMS technology, and learn more about the neat things we can do with it. Given the cell phone's status as the 'killer app' for ubicomp, I find it rather sad that, for the most part, we basically use them for voice chat, texting, and little else. I'd like to expand that. More specifically, it would be interesting to see what we can do given the wide proliferation of cell phone cameras.

Hi, I'm Erika Shehan (erika at cc), a third year phd student in human-centered computing. My research interests are in HCI (in general), but more specifically in usability of networking & security as well as privacy issues associated with ubicomp. My skills include usability evaluations and writing IRB applications. I also like writing papers a lot. My undergrad degree is in CS, so I can also program (java, jython, etc), but frankly I'm a bit rusty, so if coding's your passion, that's all the better
I'd like to do something related to privacy & RFID or some sort of rapid prototyping project.
Hello. My name is Travis Deyle (beambot at gmail.com), and the picture above is of myself, my girlfriend, and my dog. I'm just beginning my PhD in ECE. My research interests are quite varied, and I'm still actively searching for my niche. I’m thoroughly interested in robotics, embedded systems, augmented reality, computer security, chemistry… who am I kidding, all science and technology. I like the idea of the gumstix phone (see TuxPhone), Software Radio (see GNUradio), other rapid-prototyping research (see RepRap), etc. My BS degrees were in EE, CompE, CS, and Math, and I’ve spent much of my time implementing real systems at Sandia National Labs. Proficient in a few programming languages, OSes, and microcontrollers.
Howdy, I'm Scott Gilliland. I'm generally entertained with anything that involves computers and is a little bit different. You might notice me around class as the guy with the toshiba libretto, which is running ubuntu at the moment. I'm all for any software that works and is free.
I'm fairly interested in the gumstix cellphone projet, since I did try to figure out how to write my own stuff for my cell phone. I'm also fairly interested the building a better keyboard, since I once tried to build my own keyboard for a tablet pc, after gawking at the price tag on the twiddler. Really, many of those projects sounded cool, so there's no telling.
I have a fair bit of mechanical know-how, run linux exclusively, and prefer python when given a choice.
I can generally be gotten by emailing scott.gilliland@gatech.edu, or im'ming zeroping@gmail.com

Hi there! I'm Sangwook Suh, an ECE PhD student. I'm from a small but not feeble Asian country, 'Korea'. You might get some ideas of me from my website :)
Hello, I'm Jeremy Rogers. I am Master's in Computer Science. My current interests are games, unique interfaces (gestures, handwriting, etc) and long-term data archival. I will probably be working on making a Bluetooth Twiddler, and I am also interested in creating or contributing to a data standard that would encompass all available ubiquitous computers - something like an XML standard for all these embedded devices so that access, archival, and search of the units can be centralized. This would help ensure that no important capture data were lost due to proprietary data formats and the continual “progress” of technology. I can program in C, Java and JDBC, and PHP, to name a few languages. I also have lived in Japan for two years. Douzo yoroshiku!
